Our Story:

PlankWood was launched in 2014 by Wabash Lumber Co. and has since been featured in Whole Foods, Daytona International Speedway, Indiana University, and homes, restraunts, and business all across the country.  PlankWood was awarded the "Best New Product" in the 2017 Indianpolis Home Show.

Our Mission:

We wanted to take salvaged barn lumber from its native form which is dirty, rough, and crooked, and transform it into thin, lightweight, straight planks that make barnwood easy for anyone to use. 

Our Team:

We all take pride in re-purposing reclaimed lumber and making sure antique wood is saved and moved on to a new, useful life in the best possible products we can craft.  We pride ourselves on quality product, on-time delivery, and personalized customer service.  If you call or email, you'll most likely talk to Mike (3rd from right in photo below).  He's very friendly and always puts our customers first!

Veteran-Family Owned:

PlankWood & Wabash Lumber Co. are owned and opertated by me and my wife, Aaron & Brianne Hubner.  Both are veterans and served in the U.S. Navy.  We met aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). We've since had three boys and love raising them around family and friends in the MidWest.
